By Valor and Arms: Although I currently do not live in Mississippi nor was I born in the state, my family is from there and I spent several summers there playing basketball in my grandparents garage. Also, my formative years as an artist/designer were spent in this fine state. Mississippi changed my life completely. It remains a very special place to me that is filled with nostalgic feelings, great people, and happy family memories.

The center piece is the infamous Michael Jordan free throw line dunk image combined with wacky elements and dripping with nostalgia (produced by Plywerk). A few new pieces for my upcoming Solo Exhibition at Land Gallery in Portland, OR. 8 x 10 Collages --- I used to watch Walker Texas Ranger after school. The spiritual scenes in the woods with wolves were so rad. --- Basketball has been a part of my life for a very long time. --- Growing up in East Texas I was quickly introduced to hunting. I really enjoyed the fellowship with my brother, father, friends and being outdoors...but ultimately it was boring. I often drank a lot of hot chocolate and fell asleep in the duck blind.
