Each line on the map represents one of these people with the stations denoting their various activities. It is up to the viewer to decide which stereotypes are being depicted by following their actions as the day's timeline moves from left to right.

Here's a clue, the students timeline starts halfway through the day.

The poster is best viewed at the extra large size as this is the same size as the London Underground poster of which it is based on.
