I've alway's been into westerns... and the themes of soldiers coming home from war and setting out for the west to make a better life for themselves. I have this whole narrative in my head, I'm working on a set of designs supporting that story.

I know everyone says that their favorite Dracula is Bela Lugosi, but I’m without a doubt more partial to the Hammer productions, Christopher Lee Dracula. You definitely have to give mad props to Universal and Bela Lugosi for developing the iconic look but love the darkness and grit that Lee brought to the character. No longer was Dracula a smooth talking ladies man but a terrifying creature with blood stained eyes and an unquenchable thirst for human life. This is far more terrifying!

Growing up in the mid-south of America, I’ve been exposed to this aesthetic all my life but have just started to notice its influence in my own work. "Bury the Hatchet" is a North American idiom coined around the time English settlers settled in North America. The saying was based on the custom of burying a hatchet as a symbol of peace between Native American tribes. Bury the Hatchet is hand printed on 5×7authentic French Burgundy Wine cover stock, with hand mixed water based block inks.
