Rain fell on my poinsettia plant and it looked just like precious gems on red velvet. It was breathtakingly beautiful and the contrast was so striking that I had to try to capture it.

This all started by taking a macro shot of fur on my dog's ear. It went from soft, white fur to a goldenhair surprise. Really had fun with this one!

This piece started out as a macro photo of my dog's fur. She is soft and white and where her left ear meets her head is this swirl of fur. I just snapped it and then began playing with it. Creativity and a little too much time on my hands and well ... I came up with something completely different than where I started out. I love how the color turned out.

This is a piece that combines 2 photographs or ordinary household items that I thought looked interesting under particular lighting. I put them together and got something entirely different. It looks like someone stretching or posing in a bikini almost. I guess it's in the eye of the beholder as to what you see here.

This photo was taken in an area southwest of Atlanta, GA in an area near Newnan, GA. It has become overgrown and forgotten with time. This type of area fascinates me because there is a beauty is the lost and forgotten areas that were so vital and useful at one time. What made the people stop? Why did this place get abandoned and left to the weeds and Kudzu vines of Georgia?

This is an old area near Newnan, GA (outside Atlanta) where, a once vibrant community lies in complete decay and abandonment.There is a beauty in the way the loneliness of the area just permeates everything. Urban decay has always fascinated me and this area was no exception!

This is an area near Newnan, GA (near Atlanta) off of Hwy 16. It's an area time forgot and has gone into total decay. I think it's beautiful in it's stark abandonment.

This is a portrait of my daughter done in a cubist style. She is wild at heart and this colorful creation only taps the tip of her actual personality. I don't know that anything could actually capture her wild, creative nature. At least I hope I can capture half of her spirit here.

Ice Mountain (For Sale)

I found some great ice formations after a freak snowfall in Atlanta, GA in December 2010. It snowed first then froze that night. Freezing rain the followed the next day and then a hard freeze that night. It made for some very interesting ice formations. I wanted to capture them before they were gone from memory.

Ice Forever (For Sale)

I took some macro pictures of ice that had formed on the hood of my car in an ice storm that hit Atlanta, GA in December 2010. It had snowed all day then rained afterwards for a short time. Then a hard freeze came that night. The next day were these magnificent round ice crystals that were hard as glass the next morning all over everything. They caught the light in such a beautiful way that I just had to capture them before they were gone from memory.

Pain in the Neck (For Sale)

This came from an actual x-ray of my own neck after getting it fixed (more-or-less) with use of a Chiropractor and massage therapy. It was caused by an auto accident where I was broad-sided by a mini van. I drove a Honda civic. The steam from the van's engine burned the side of my face and sprayed glass from my window all over my face. I had cuts and slivers of glass in my skin and pieces all throughout my hair. My neck is better but will never be perfect again. There are some bones showing signs of arthritis. I love this piece ... it helps relieve some of the pain by playing with my x-ray.

I love abstract drawing but not just for the sake of abstract, I like some details to pop out and show recognizable features or figures. I also love color and play on light with color. Here is cubism, abstract, color and light all rolled into one.

I created this in 3D Studio Max 2012. This was a lot of fun. Creating fun shaped buildings in a completely unrealistic 3D scene that could not exist. But in 3D, anything is possible!

This is acutally a cubist drawing piece I made of my daughter and her two best friends right before high school senior prom night. They were dressed in their finest, But not quite as provocative as I portray here. I have made this my own ... three girls going out on the town, to celebrate and live it up. The moon and the sun are part of our every day life. We depend on them and hardly think about them. We owe them our very existence. I'm fascinated by them and have often wondered what it would be like if they had human souls. They continually orbit and can never stop to chat with each other. EVER.
