I really like Woody Allen. I like his neurosis. I like his appreciation of Paris in the rain. More than anything, I admire the way he's been able to have a career making the films he wanted to make whether or not they had broad commercial appeal. I drew him in front of Carnegie Deli because I wanted to set him clearly in New York City.

If you're a microphone geek, you probably have or sincerely WANT a Neumann u87. It's the best mic in the world, and very expensive! I drew this for my audio studio. I don't have the mic. It's one of the hardest things I've drawn because of all the detail in the grill.

I grew up in church not listening to any music that wasn't Christian. Somehow Michael Jackson's music broke through that weird rule. The world is missing something special with him gone too soon. I didn't draw this very large so only small prints are available.

A couple years ago, I went to Budapest and took a photo of an old bicycle that was chained to a tree. It was spray panted completely yellow and the seat had been exchanged for a flower pot. It made me happy. After I got home, I found out about the amazing colors of Fixie Bikes. This combines those two things into one drawing with colors that make me smile.

This is my Chihuahua, Zoe. She is my favorite person in the world. She sits beside me pretty much 24/7, and I love her with all my heart. I know this because I know her. I did a really good job capturing her eyes. Looking at this drawing feels so much like looking right into Zoe's eyes. Zoe would like to be art in your life. :)
