I decided to have a stab at doing a drawing a day, aside from the usual animation, to squeeze a little bit more productivity out of my day {at least for a week to see how it goes}. Simple line work and maybe one other colour for shading. Plan was, spend half an hour in the morning sketching it, and half an hour at the end of the day inking and colouring. Simple right? Wrong. I got way too carried away and before you know it i've added about 20 more colours, highlights and shadow........and this is the result of my first 'drawing a day'. Still, i enjoyed doing it, and it's given me some more ideas for future illustrations but for the rest of the week i'm gonna try stick to the original plan and do one SIMPLE drawing a day.

Okinawa

<img src="http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/box_001/post_10/137410_5821188_l.jpg"/>Pen on wood panel, digitally coloured.
