This is an illustration I created in the wake of the film 'My Week with Marilyn' where the lead is played by Michelle Williams. I have kept the portrait monochrome to reflect the era of her heyday whilst accentuating her classic red lips.

These are illustrations from two stories I have been working on titled 'Piano and the Boy' and 'Halo'. I am influenced by cinema which shows the powerful angles spanning the field and boy's bedroom, and the intimate close shot of the fairy in the nest sleeping.
