"His Father's Eyes"

Here is a painting I did in September of 2010 for the show "Horrorwood" at the WWA Gallery in Culver City. It was inspired by the film "Rosemary's Baby." I have posted a number of process photos as well as the finished result and a photo from the opening. The medium was ink wash, gouache, and graphite.

Two pieces, each 12"x12" acrylic on cradled Stonehenge. The first one is titled "You're a Wolf" after the song by Sea Wolf. The second is titled "Migration" after the song by Post-foetus.

Teather, Brood, Virtue, Thorazine

This series was created for the PIN-4 exhibit at Gallery Nucleus. Here is the story: This series of four paintings are based on four different songs but together they tell the story of the relationship between a scheming girl and an exotic bird. Sometimes people want something so bad that they are willing to destroy it and lose their minds to get it. Obsession, ya know? Songs in order: (Birdie Brain by the Fiery Furnaces, The Wren In The Furze by The Chieftains, Plea From A Cat Named Virtue by The Weakerthans, and Tea And Thorazine by Andrew Bird.)

Patron Saint of Tits

This Painting was created for the Perihelion Gallery's show "Happiness" which was curated by illustrator and gallery artist Bob Dob. The title "Patron Saint of Tits" is a double entendre.
