This piece, like some of the rest of them, are done with prismacolor markers and pencils with a bit of pastels thrown in.

This was originally a drawing for Grandma, who wanted "flowers" in her drawing. It ended up being "too weird" for her taste, so now it is just thrown in the pile with the rest of them.

Waxing Color

So I hear that my artwork goes a little something like this: The bright and imaginative nine year old child wakes up from a bad dream, walks into your living room where you left your night's adventures on the coffee table, and eats a sweettart with the naive innocence of infancy. Seeing no one to hear the throes of emotions associated with the nightmare, this child returns to the bedroom, goes back to sleep, and in the dreams of hallucination conjurs up the reality that I myself stepped into to photograph, with no one's permission.
