By working within historically based tropes, she attempts to never ground her photographs in the present-tense, but create a familiar scene that resonates within the collective image-repertoire. Part historian, part amateur psychoanalyst, her work primarily deals with conventional representations of women, particularly correlations between sex and death. She graduated The Bulgarian National Academy of Arts and got her master degree in graphic arts. From a young age she has always loved to draw. Art for her is a way of portraying a feeling, a thought, an opinion or just a point of view, whether it's hers or someone else's. She loves to be able to create drawing or doll or any kind of creature at all that other people would enjoy. She can find inspiration in music, people, odd things and creatures on the side of the road, art materials, old fabrics.
