Water Colour Collection

Over the summer I'd been compiling a collection of painted and stained textures which in turn I scan into folders on my mac. From there I have a library I can use to piece together painted digital collages. These animals were the first pieces I've worked on using this methodology and it certainly opens up possibilities to explore colour and texture with more experimentation and design.

Over the summer I'd been playing around with using textures and scanning them into the computer. I've compiled a big folder of various splats and drips which have been dried onto card and scanned in, I wanted to use these bits to paint and collage digitally. This Tiger design is one of my favourites, originally I used a lot of tea and coffee colour stains to make up the colour but I thought the psychadelic look was a lot better.
