The first one has to do with the idea of how you can add time to a photograph. The second one has to do with the idea of decomposing the elements in the photograph, in a way that the elements become somewhat evident but not recognizable. The third idea that comes is the reconciliation of photography with painting.

These three elements interact with one another; they fuse in the visual results of the photographs as they need one from the other to exist. The ideas in the photographs complement one another, providing the necessary structure for the viewer to relate with them for a longer period of time. Such an interaction of the viewer and the image will change the way in which he/she communicates with the picture, as will involved the use of different terms and ideas in order to read the image. The final product are images which require more time to be read, images that get away from the idea of representing reality, and images that attempt to talk about photography in terms of brushstrokes and textures to describe its elements.

Tacit Dialogs

<img src="http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/box_001/post_10/7827_9801290_l.jpg"/>The project is called tacit dialogs and it represents my interest in the interaction between images. There is certain complicity among them that its meant to chase the viewers curiosity to understand their relationship. The intention is to evoke a dialog that allows the images to communicate, to exist one next to the other adding information about each other. I am interested in the way the two images put together generate a composition, provoking a tacit dialog among the elements in each image. There function is to coexist as one entity, as if one of them alone could not exist without the other one.
