The Caipora (Kay-pour-a) is a mischievous forest dweller from the mythology of the Brazilian Guaraní and Tupí people. It is usually depicted as naked, smoking a cigar with a long black mane and sometimes the head of a fox.

The Caipora is said to be a protector of the forest, helping people who respect it and delivering punishments to those who do not! Any hunters who do not respect their prey may find that the Caipora has hidden the tracks they are following and they may even find themselves lost in the jungle all together!

Gods and Monsters #2 The Blemmyes!
