“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself." — William Blake

The Bench (For Sale)

One of the first posters I created in this style.

#8 (For Sale)

Eight is a number that seems to rotate around my life. It was created at a time when I was going through a lot and had to make some of the most difficult decisions in my life and to let go of the past. In the serendipitous kind of way someone pointed out a typo with the list. It was meant to be "Allow Yourself to Make Mistakes" but became "All Yourself to Make Mistakes." At first I wanted to correct it then I decided to let it be and just add the grammar marks. So I sort of corrected it but let it be a mistake.

Also note this poster is charged at cost, so I make no profit from it. So you're just paying the printing and shipping costs.

As I get older there are often new things to reflect on. This illustration is based on an older illustration I did years ago. It has always been one of my personal favorites that I’ve done. But as I’m getting older and better in my design skills I wanted to recapture this image. It’s also a reminder that I need to stop and reflect on my life and what I have instead of focusing on what I don’t.
