The two components are The Conservatory and the Resource Centre. It is from here that Lake Wendouree and the Ballarat Botanical Gardens are administed.

The Resource Centre is used for meetings by horticultural and other community groups. The centre is available for seminars, exhibitions and small events. A permanent exhibition of historic photographs of the Gardens and information panels tell the history of the Gardens from 1857-1890 as well as the history of Ballarat's Begonia Festival which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2002

There are no problems with internet connections, recorded messages, overseas workers or huge wage costs for Bosses; as the Kangaroos do all their deliveries on a skipping agreement. Their service is quick, reliable & backed by the Federation of Marsupials :)

Kryal Castle is an Australian replica medieval castle located on a foothill of Mount Warrenheip at Leigh Creek, just north of Dunnstown and 8 km east of Ballarat. It was built in 1972 and opened to the public in 1974 by Keith Ryall, who gave the castle his namesake, having made his fortune selling body armour.

The castle has many features including a moat, drawbridge, maze, castle towers, stocks medical museum, armoury. It also features shows such as jousting, public whipping, a jester juggler, fire eating and a “Wax Of Torture” museum. It also has accommodation and performs weddings.

The castle building itself is a vast complex of gothic towers, turrets, parapets and battlements, complete with moat and drawbridge.
