This is an acrylic painting of a happy elephant. I've been looking at documentaries and pictures of elephants lately and I only find things to admire, they're the smartest animals after humans, they fall in love and keep a couple, they have the longest childhood after humans and love playing, they have a better memory than humans I think and they always look calm and smiley, you know why? Because they have a THICK SKIN.

This painting is my first attempt at using any kind of technique, inspired by Van Gogh's brush strokes I tried to create texture rather than fill spaces in with colour as I usually do. The drawing represents how masks can hide all emotions in a human, making an expression as static as a painting itself.

This painting is an experiment of 'not using a black pen' and doing it all by brush. It is the second of the series of paintings with a direct message, follows 'momentary happiness'. I tried to link a drawing with a specific feeling. The flight of a butterfly with the brevity of hope.

This is an acrylic painting with marker borders. Represents the cultural mix implied in my genetic mix. The skulls represent the 'Inca' Empire and its bloody traditions and the Russian dolls (matrioshkas) well, represent Russia.

A painting where my purple characters started to develop. This one is an angel... I always use bold happy colours and talk about the impossibility of encapsulating happiness for ever, it is momentary, like the title.

This painting works both sides up, it is a creature/alien made from the colour spectrum. Really shows the characters I started to develop.

This started as a tattoo design but ended up as a painting in a small canvas. one of my first. The picture is not the best quality but the drawing means a lot. Its Aztec inspired and there is a tiger, a bird, a crocodile and a snake hiding.
