Staying in Berlin for ten days seemed like a minute only, probably we’re still young enough to allow ourselves to feed on the expectations and wonders of the prospect of change. That’s normal. What’s not normal is the city itself. Sorrow contained so uncomfortably inside parties, drugs and polite drunkenness, you can feel the continuous swing going nowhere, and you know it is not going anywhere for sure. But it is also beauty. Not the tourist kind. Serious, humble, subtle and uncompromised beauty. The Berlin Book is finished! Transforming this trip into something of my own felt amazing. It has been really rewarding, since I’ve learned a lot from the process of putting the book together, and the feedback to this publication has been great.
