Linocut Printing Tutorial

Step 1: Take stinky rubber linocut sheet. Step 2: Draw and fill out areas to be printed using a permanent marker. Step 3: Use lino cutters to slice out areas that should be left unprinted. Step 4: Use a roller and roll the .... oh nevermind, just search for "Linocut tutorial" in Youtube.

A portraiture challenge for an 'Illustrators Drawing Illustrators' event initiated online. This was my submission of a depiction of a girl based on her interests of Japanese fashion. From the cherry blossoms border, lacey outfit, ribbon bow headband to pose, it depicts the 'kawaiiness' of the girl and also exudes warmth of her personality.
