the maw is a weird evolution of that, but it's more animalistic. fur and claws got thrown into the mix, along with the gaping maw. and a little bit of a backstory emerged as well.

the maw is an anomaly, an evolutionary aberration. it can strike any species at any time altering each species in different ways. in every case though the telltale signs remain the same: coarse fur, long claws, and a huge mouth full of teeth. in most cases creatures stricken by the maw do not live long. they are hunted and exterminated once they are discovered. some have tried to tame them only to be ripped apart. people have tried to study it for centuries, but it is as mysterious today as it was thousands of years ago.

it is ruthless, it is uncontrollable, it is hungry. it is the maw

Promoted: Zombieland

Brand new piece done for Jaded Publishing Company.

Promoted: BEAUTIFUL LOSERS

Beautiful Losers has a film, a book and pretty fun site.
