My brief was to make up an event with a theme that would work across a series of posters, flyers, and promotional material. I invented the fictional 'Hands Up' event for local and young talented bands, and my idea was for the series of posters to show different types of hand in all kinds of poses.

This is a lizard hand... rock on!

Lower Dens poster

A self initiated project I worked on as part of my Jump mentorship to create a concert poster with Australian tour dates for the band Lower Dens.

Lana Del Rey Poster

This was my entry into a competition to design a poster for Lana Del Rey. I wanted to evoke a 1950s Hollywood screen siren feel to it. In the 1950s newspapers were the main medium for tabloid scoops, which led me to create the background with a newspaper feel of headlines taken from her lyrics.

The Frankettes, of course!

I did this illustration for Domestic Etch magazine, where the theme was 'Growth & Decay.' Solitude is an Australian magazine featuring the best in alternative stylings, rockabilly, burlesque, tattoo, goth and punk. It's a great read and I think it's really refreshing to see these kind of magazines at the newsagents alongside more mainstream publications.
