A vector illustration I created using FreeHand MX, showing the 'Kitschy Kitschy Boom Boom Liz' style of Fluevog shoes. I wanted to show a girl getting ready to go to school. Hands Up poster

I completed this poster as part of my Jump mentorship. My brief was to make up an event with a theme that would work across a series of posters, flyers, and promotional material. I invented the fictional 'Hands Up' event for local and young talented bands, and my idea was for the series of posters to show different types of hand in all kinds of poses. This is a lizard hand... rock on!

Lana Del Rey Poster

This was my entry into a competition to design a poster for Lana Del Rey. I wanted to evoke a 1950s Hollywood screen siren feel to it. In the 1950s newspapers were the main medium for tabloid scoops, which led me to create the background with a newspaper feel of headlines taken from her lyrics. What would you get if you crossed a sweet 1960's girl group with the stylings of the Bride of Frankenstein? The Frankettes, of course! I did this illustration for Domestic Etch magazine, where the theme was 'Growth & Decay.' Was a lot of fun to do!

Solitude Magazine

The lovely people at Solitude Magazine featured my Cross My Heart illustration in their Dec issue! Solitude is an Australian magazine featuring the best in alternative stylings, rockabilly, burlesque, tattoo, goth and punk. It's a great read and I think it's really refreshing to see these kind of magazines at the newsagents alongside more mainstream publications.
