FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE fPOE PRESENTS virtual exhibition “FOR THE LOVE OF PHOTOGRAPHY EXTRAVAGANZA” JANUARY 24-26, 2013 Female Photographers of Etsy (fPOE) and fPOE Artist Events is proud to announce a new virtual exhibition and sale, “For the Love of Photography Extravaganza.” This online art show will feature work of 17 outstanding fPOE photographers and takes place January 24-26, 2013. Female photographers of Etsy (fPOE) and fPOE Artist Events is proud to announce a new virtual exhibition and sale, “For the Love of Photography Extravaganza” (http://bit.ly/fPOEForTheLove), taking place January 24-26, 2013. “For the Love of Photography Extravaganza” features the work of 17 outstanding fPOE photographers. The show opens Thursday, January 24 at 7:00pm EST and closes Saturday, January 26 at 10:00pm EST. The photographs on exhibit will be available for purchase for the duration of the show and there will be a daily raffle and giveaways throughout the three day event. fPOE and fPOE Artist Events encourages anyone with a passion for viewing and/or collecting photography to mark their calendars for this exceptional art happening. Anita Miller, fPOE member and photographer/owner, Nature’s Images by Design, is responsible for organizing “For the Love of Photography Extravaganza.” The exhibit follows on the group’s successful “Virtual Holiday Show,” also organized by Miller, which took place in late November. To preview the work of “For the Love of Photography Extravaganza” participants, Miller has put together a comprehensive look book (http://bit.ly/forLoveBook) and video (http://bit.ly/forLoveShow), both of which are available for public viewing now. “The Virtual Holiday Show was a bit of an experiment in putting on an online art event,” smiled Miller. “It was very successful in terms of sales and exposure, we learned a lot and we’re excited about this, our sophomore effort.” The show offers something for everyone, including landscape, nature, portrait, still life and abstract photography. “As with the Virtual Holiday Show, this is a great opportunity for the photography aficionado or collector to see a wide range of work from multiple artists in one setting and from the comfort of their home or office.” “These events simply could not happen without the hard work, enthusiasm and collaborative spirit of the fPOE team members,” said Miller. “In fact, fPOE was one of just ten Etsy Teams to be nominated for the coveted Etsy Team Spirit Award this December.
