The event was such a success that he was able to make a permanent event. Everyone seemed to love the first design so it seemed silly to re create the wheel. I opted to just update the text and color scheme.

Also to be considered for the ANALOG zine

He wanted a Afrocentric look to the poster, something ripped right out of time. So I decided to go with a look like I traveled back in time and nabbed an old poster off the walls.

The poster was done in Illustrator and Photoshop. The image of the woman was one that I found online, she seems to be a common image for Afrocentric women.

Anyway, everyone at the club seemed to really like the posters, some of them were even stolen! Not bad, never thought Id have work stolen off a wall. NOT TO SAY I CONDONE that sort of thing :)

Enjoy!

MuthaFunkya (For Sale)

<img src="http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/0010/p/2911628_12534138_l.jpg"/>I was commissioned to do an event poster for a friend of mine who DJ's, Dooley-O.

Poster inspired by the song... "Nowhere Man" by The Beatles. This poster features the Nowhere man himself along with some lyrics from the song.

It was created using Illustrator and Photoshop.

I have a limited edition version of this print on my Etsy shop that you can see here:

This is a "revisit" of a print design I did earlier this year. I was never really happy with it... Some people didn't get the reference, while others just didn't like the blandness.

I just wanted to update the image to include match the newest prints I've designed.

You can still find the other version here though:
http://society6.com/TomRyansStudio/The-Matrix-Movie-Poster_Print

Back to the Future Print Version 1.1.0 (For Sale)

<img src="http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/0009/p/2311452_4971808_l.jpg"/>So recently I had this idea that I wanted to recreate some of my all time favorite movie quotes. The first is a quote from, honest to god, my most all time favorite movie, Back to the Future.

Ill let the image speak for itself. You'll notice that this is a second version of this print. I just wanted to update the image to include match the newest prints I've designed. With this version you also get a new updated gradient to the background. I hope you enjoy :)

Turq Skull n Finch (For Sale)

<img src="http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/0009/p/2218971_5960546_l.jpg"/>This is an older design I did for some fabrics. They're so much fun to paint given their white coat of hair, they pick up a lot of reflected color that surrounds them, making it very easy for them to hide from their pray. And also a lot of fun to paint!
