I haven't found many so far but this was one of my favourites.

The image was made with Instagram on an iPhone 4.

Scott Monument, Edinburgh (For Sale)

This photo was made with my Kodak Kodamatic on Ilford Delta 100 film. Because the camera is designed for 130 film, which is about 1cm wider than 120 film.

When using this camera the final image is longer than any standard medium format frame; perfect for landscapes. I wanted a long exposure because I loved the movements of the fairground rides.

Because the film I used wasn't designed for this camera and the camera itself is almost 100 years old, expect some artefacts on the printed image.

Fairground (For Sale)

This photo was made with my Kodak Kodamatic on Ilford Delta 100 film. I made the photo with a Kodak Brownie No.2 box camera made around 1929 with Fomapan 400, 120 film. The light was dropping very quickly so I had to use bulb and guessed the exposure.

Hills, 02 (For Sale)

This photo was made by my infra-red converted P&S digital camera with an R72 filter. This photo was made in a place called Easterbush near Bilston just outside Edinburgh.

A typical effect from of infra-red photography on a sunny cloudless day is a black sky, also leaves on trees and other foliage that reflect infra-red light may turn out white. Even clothes can behave differently, someone wearing a black jacket might end up wearing a white jacket in an infra-red image.

The Hills, 01 (For Sale)

This photo was made by my infra-red converted P&S digital camera with an R72 filter. Converting a digital camera into an infra-red camera is pretty tricky as you have to remove a filter from the sensor and there's a chance you may break the camera.

Glass (For Sale)

This photo was made by my infra-red converted P&S digital camera with an R72 filter. This was made in a place called Glass, by Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

This was made with my favourite rangefinder, the Zorki 4K, using probably my favourite film Ilford HP5Plus pushed processed to ISO 800; I believe I was using Microphen at that time.

Push processing gives film this high contrast high grain look.

Field of Green (For Sale)

This field is opposite a church that I could only describe as in the middle of nowhere just outside of St. Andrews. The weather was starting to turn from bright and sunny to a spot of rain.

I was out making some 5x4 Efke infra-red photos of the church with my family in the car park but had my Zorki around my neck when I saw this scene.

I was rating the Ilford HP5Plus 400 speed film at ISO1600 with pushing the film at processing time (to develop for much longer than normal); pushing film gives it that high contrast high grain look which I do enjoy.

Kodak Premo (For Sale)

This is a double exposure of a Kodak Premo folder camera from around the early 1920's to 1930's made using my Crown Graphic press camera on a sheet of 5x4 Adox 100 film.

As with the style of image I wanted expect some artefacts from the process like small scratches.

Classic Cameras (For Sale)

This photo was made on Adox 100 5x4 sheet film in my Crown Graphic press camera, circa 1930, and it's a photo of two of my favourite rangefinder cameras; first the FED 3; then the Zorki 4K.

They are Russian 35mm cameras designed and produced from around the 1960's as a cheap copy of the now classic and still very popular German made Leica; both these cameras use the Leica M39 screw mount.

The FED 3 has the 52mm Industar 51 lens and the Zorki 4k is seen with the 35mm Jupiter 12, the Zorki also has a 35mm viewfinder to match the 35mm lens. What you do is focus through the coupled rangefinder/viewfinder on the camera body then compose through the viewfinder on top. It may sound like a handful but it really isn't after a little experience.

Another thing with these cameras, there are no built in light meters. It may sound like a horror story in today's world of auto but they are very versatile cameras and a pleasure to use.
