This is a digital rendering of my latest painting. I am a huge people watcher and, as a people watcher, my favorite activity is listening in on the MANY different arguments I have heard couples have. So, Why not create a GIGANTIC painting over it, to create the constantly spinning lies/truths/realities/falsities/etc of the normal relationship and the eventual breakup. Enjoy, and I would highly suggest using the full-resolution feature. Every single argument is unique, so there are at least 1000 different ones, for your enjoyment! Oh, and don't forget about the easter eggs... Make sure to take a close look at the negative space. It made it that way for a reason. ;)

This is a piece I made in a course at Wichita State University in 2012, which you take a song and re-entact your interpretations of the lyrics into a drawing. I chose Muse - Time is Running Out, and used the enlarged cobra grasping its victim, along withe the pages of the calendar spiraling out of control, to represent an individual that needs to make changes in his life, otherwise death could be in his near future.

This is a papercut project I did, which is comprised of 10 pieces of paper layered on top of each other, with space cut out of each piece to make an image. The image I chose to represent was a pangolin, with warm colors resembling fire, climbing on stalagmites made of cool colors, like ice. This piece took an incredibly long time to complete, so hopefully you will enjoy it!

This is one that I loved some words from a recent movie I watched, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, that I decided to make a painting from it. This is image 2 of the series. Love is something, that has no bounds, will never have any bounds, will be mutual, will be one sided, will be hurtful, will be more happiness than you can imagine.... No matter what it will be for you, just remember... It never goes away, as love is infinite.

This piece is about finally finding something to be happy about and flying away with the beauty that is that happiness, hence the trail of colors are like a contrail of those feelings being exuded. I made the figure a broke, jagged, silhouette because its like a shadow of the past. Something that will always be there, but flying away is breaking the pieces of it away and making it less recognizable, like for a better future once the final destination is reached. -This is how I explained this piece to my friend, so I figured I would make it the description.

I would consider this my self portrait. It's hard to explain, but this came last night after having a couple cigarettes and blasting my ipod. Sometimes, in life, you give, and you give, and you give, and you never receive anything back in life. This is a good way to live, but it is always unfufilling, as you can see... When you expel everything in you, there is an empty space in the middle of your being. It might be a beautiful thing that you create, but you can never remove that empty space until you find something to fill it with.
