Spanning a chasm eighty feet deep, it's construction once consisted of a single rope hand rail and widely spaced slats which the fishermen would traverse across with boxes of salmon caught off the island. this was one of several seasonal salmon netting locations around the coast, others were at Kenbane, Portmoon and Black Rock. On the main road above Carrick a Rede you can see the old Ice House on the right hand side of the road as you climb up the hill, this is where ice gathered in winter would be stred to pack with the fish before it was shipped to Belfast.

Stirling Bridge (For Sale)

The First War of Scottish Independence was fought at Stirling Bridge, on 11 September 1297, the forces of Andrew Moray and William Wallace defeated the combined English forces of John de Warenne, 6th Earl of Surrey, and Hugh de Cressingham near Stirling, on the River Forth.

Port View (For Sale)

Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, view from the Arcadia beach!

A prominent feature of the 229-square-mile (590 km2) park is Zion Canyon, which is 15 miles (24 km) long and up to half a mile (800 m) deep, cut through the reddish and tan-colored Navajo Sandstone by the North Fork of the Virgin River. The lowest elevation is 3,666 ft (1,117 m) at Coalpits Wash and the highest elevation is 8,726 ft (2,660 m) at Horse Ranch Mountain. Located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mojave Desert regions, the park's unique geography and variety of life zones allow for unusual plant and animal diversity. Numerous plant species as well as 289 species of birds, 75 mammals (including 19 species of bat), and 32 reptiles inhabit the park's four life zones: desert, riparian, woodland, and coniferous forest. Zion National Park includes mountains, canyons, buttes, mesas, monoliths, rivers, slot canyons, and natural arches.

Nosey Otter II (For Sale)

Otter

The morning Cafe (For Sale)

The old Arcadia Cafe is situated in Portrush Co, Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was built in the 1920s by local businessman, R.A. Chalmers. Through the 1920s-1950s it functioned as a thriving seaside cafe. In 1953 a ballroom extension was added and the venue attracted many great showbands. The ballroom was later demolished, although today the original building is still standing and is used as a cafe during summer months!
