Developed by Boeing, a total of 12,731 aircraft had been produced by Boeing, Douglas and Lockheed from 1936 until 1945. A vast majority (over 8,000) of these aircraft were lost in either combat operations or training accidents. The remaining combat veterans and early production models were stored and later scrapped in the vast scrap drives of the late 1940s.

56 Chevy (For Sale)

A classic 56 Chevy Belair. The last mission of Atlantis was STS-135, the last flight of the Shuttle program. This final flight, authorized in October 2010, brought additional supplies to the International Space Station and took advantage of the processing performed for the Launch on Need mission, which would only have been flown in the event that Endeavour's STS-134 crew required rescue. Atlantis launched successfully for the final time on 8 July 2011 at 16:29 UTC, landing at the John F. Kennedy Space Center on 21 July 2011 at 09:57 UTC.
By the end of its final mission, Atlantis had orbited the Earth 4,848 times, traveling nearly 126,000,000 mi (203,000,000 km) in space or more than 525 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon.
Atlantis was named after RV Atlantis, a two-masted sailing ship that operated as the primary research vessel for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from 1930 to 1966

Rising Moon (For Sale)

Moon rising above the clouds

Florida banana Spider (For Sale)

The Golden Silk Spider also known as Florida Banana Spider is relatively harmless. They are not prone to attack or bite people or pets. They are one of the largest species of spiders (not classified as tarantulas) in North America. There are called golden silk or banana spiders because of the yellow colored silk web that they weave.

Always Faithful (For Sale)

Black Labrador retriever portrait! John o' Groats is a village in the Highland of Scotland. Part of the county of Caithness, John o' Groats is popular with tourists because it is generally regarded as the most northerly settlement on the island of Great Britain, although this is not a claim made by its inhabitants and is in fact false. It is however one end of the longest distance between two inhabited points on the island of Great Britain, Land's End being the other. (The most northerly point on the island of Great Britain is nearby Dunnet Head). John O' Groats is 876 miles from Land's End, 690 miles from London, 6 miles from the Orkney Isles, 12,850 miles from New Zealand and 2,200 miles from The North Pole.

The Sunset of a Rose (For Sale)

A rose fades into the sunset.

Keep Your Eye On The Ball (For Sale)

Lab balances a tennis ball on his nose

Egret Take Off (For Sale)

White Egret takes off over the lily pads
