What I said:

Obviously The Odyssey contains a lot of really beautiful, fantastic/al stuff. But whenever I think of The Odyssey I can't help but shake Odysseus' anguish in being away from Penelope, Telemachus and (maybe most importantly) Ithaca. His journey, though filled with many characters, including those who sailed with him, was one of loneliness. Much blood was spilled in those 20 years, but his pain over the unknowable distance home created a type of companion for him. Loneliness is still and deep. I tried to capture Odysseus in my painting and cover.

PaintyBird (For Sale)

This was inspired by my friend Lexy Hulme, also known as PaintyHands.

3 Kiwis (For Sale)

Fruit, Bird, Jackson.

Tuscany in 3 Scenes (For Sale)

These are 3 scenes I witnessed in Tuscany, all have an image of Mauro Staccioli's "Ring" superimposed on them - with a little color missing.

Teeth (For Sale)

A collection of teeth I painted for an animation on hitRECord.org:

Don't let the small preview scare you off, the painting is incredibly detailed and rich. It's just very wide.

Tell No Tales (For Sale)

Ender's Game (For Sale)

A fan cover to Ender's Game.
