This man is brewing up some nefarious schemes! He is patient, cunning, and a bad as they get. People Art: To Take A City sets a foreboding stage for our introduction to this mysterious man, as he twists his mustache in in malicious contemplation. What shall he do to the glowing city behind him, or has his plot already begun to unfold?? People Art: To Take A City is a fun piece in the fashion of some good old comic art.

People Art: Prairie Spirit (For Sale)

You are now viewing Prairie Spirit from my People Art Collection. Prairie Spirit is a mixed media piece. I imagine her up in the sky overlooking the vast American prairies, with the wild flowers and buffalo roaming around.

People Art: Remember When. (For Sale)

Hi all, you are now viewing Remember When from my People Art collection. This piece was hand drawn with ink, then scanned into my computer, where i threw a bunch'o colors and filters on it. I kept the size small, for Remember When is an introspective piece.
After a couple of drinks and being with friends, quiet moments settle in, where your mind drifts to yesteryear's and days long past. Caught in a dream like state, Remember When acts as a window into a window. What is he thinking of, and whom is he remembering?? Whom, or what do you think of by looking at this piece? Remember When, from my People Art collection, is a special lil piece that I feel everyone can relate to. Enjoy!!!

People Art: Clean Cut I (For Sale)

You are now viewing Clean Cut from my People Art collection. The face was hand drawn and scanned into the computer; then a plethora of color and effects were splashed upon it to give you this end result. I've always had a thing for men with facial hair, so Clean Cut is the first of many homages to come in my People Art collection. Enjoy!

Mermaid Art: Mermaid I (For Sale)

You are now viewing Mermaid I from my mermaid series collection. This was hand drawn with brush and ink. I love the mystery and intrigue the piece achieved. Who is she, what is she looking at, will she turn to see me; the romanticism and minimalism int his piece is truly stunning. I was not expecting to encounter her, but I'm so happy I did.

The Singers (For Sale)

The Singers

ANALOG zine

The Jackalope (For Sale)

The Sphinx (For Sale)

Flower Paintings: Wild Flower Bouquet (For Sale)

You are now viewing Wild Flower Bouquet from my Flower Painting Collection. The original painting was done with gouache on watercolor paper. The hourglass frame alludes to the idea of time passing, while the flowers personify life and how delicate we are. The flowers themselves are no particular species; though I'm sure there is a California Golden Poppy in there. I developed the frame purely from my imagination, but I wanted to speak to Art Nouveau broaches and lockets. The lace detail around the edges adds to the delicacy of the overall painting; I also wanted to incorporate lace as an echo to my Lace Flower painting and the constellations of the stars. ( read my literature from Lace Flower to get the full context of the constellation reference).

Comic Art: Wild Hearts (For Sale)

You are now viewing Wild Hearts from my Comic Art Collection. There are few things more stunning and beautiful than seeing wild horses running free across the planes. They are magnificent creatures and intuitive souls. With Wild Hearts, I wanted to capture them in-action. The segmented color burst represents a dust cloud that they have kicked up and adds to the impression of energy and movement. Wild Hearts is purely a digital piece, having used both PS and AI. I let the colors from the cloud cross into the horses faces, as it looked like the natural markings that one would usually see on these beautiful beasts. Strong and full life, the text represents their essence.

Cat Art: Present Time (For Sale)

This cute lil kitten was originally made as a card for my Grandmas 85th Birthday! With a big red box and a content smile, kitty knows she's in for a treat. I was inspired by the minimal watercolor paintings of ancient China; with very few colors and strokes of their nimble brush, the most beautiful and sophisticated images were rendered. The original was also done in watercolor, then I reinterpreted it into digital form; as the picture I took wasn't in high enough quality to be used on the site. The digital one is a spitting image though, if I do say so myself. Present Time is perfect for everyone and during any time of celebration! Get Present Time for your loved ones or yourself, everyone deserves a treat!

Comic Art: 3D Pin Up (For Sale)

You are now viewing 3D Pin Up from my Comic Art Collection. I wanted to have fun with the old fashion 3D set up and throw in a retro flair of pin up girls. I mean, who doesn't like a pin up girl? ;)

People Art: The White Crow (For Sale)

You are now viewing The White Crow from my People Art Collection. I chose to do a version with The Crow's hair silver, as she looks more mystical.. and perhaps speaks to my crush Game of Thrones character, the Calisi. She's so rad; I love the idea of her starting out as a small bird and evolving into a strong, cunning woman. Enjoy!

People Art: The Crow (For Sale)

You are now viewing The Crow from my People Art Collection. The Crow was inspired by a Native American story about the creation of Man and Woman.

A crow fell in love with a wolf, but were torn by sadness that they could not be together. The whole forest felt their pain and after some time, Creator came and spoke to the creatures; Creator asked "Why are you so sad, what disturbs you so?" They responded that their sadness was because Crow and Wolf loved each other, but couldn't be together. So Creator turned Crow into Woman, and Wolf into Man; and all rejoiced in their Love.

Note: I drew the headdress without reference to any regalia, so if there are any similarities to anything out there, it is by pure coincidence.

Flower Paintings: Rise and fall of the Bloom (For Sale)

You are viewing Rise and Fall of the Bloom, from my Flower Paintings Collection. What started out as a robust vibrant flower, giving its sweet gift of perfume and beauty, inevitably looses its luster; the perfume fades, and the petals wilt. The radiant bloom seems to rise and fall in a matter of moments; her sweetness is captured only in stolen moments of appreciation from the passer by who happens stop upon her. Do not go in haste, inhale her sweet scent, caress her velvet petals, and smile upon her face - for she will be gone before we are ready; and we will be left with nothing but her memory.

Comic Art: Brave Soul (For Sale)

You are now viewing Brave Soul from my Comic Art collection. Bravery, courage, and heart is what makes a brave soul; no matter what befalls these individuals, they endure.

Brave Soul is a tribute to everyone; from the person who chooses to listen to their heart, follow their dreams, rise to the occasion, and every other triumph or sacrifice we make. We are the Brave Souls walking this land, and through the slings and arrows that we encounter, we carry on to live the life we dreamed we could make our own.

Comic Art: Neck Tatt (For Sale)

You are now viewing Neck Tatt from my Comic Art collection. This piece was inspired by a man whom I find extremely handsome, but it breaks my heart as to what he did to his neck. A beautiful tragedy in my opinion. I like tatts, but not so much on the neck. Non the less, I have nothing but respect for someone who isn't afraid of taking bold action in the form of self expression. The Comic Art collection brings ordinary people and events into a glorious manifestation of epicness. I want everyone to appreciate how magical and amazing individuals and small moments are.

Comic Art: Dazed and Confused (For Sale)

You are viewing Dazed and Confused from my Comic Art Collection. For my Comic Art collection I wanted to capture the richness and magic in every day life. Bringing small moments into focus and adding epicness to situations that might otherwise been overlooked or forgotten. Dazed and Confused, everyone has been there, we all know the feeling.
