Made for Spirit Day 2012 Being who you are is okay. Asking for help is okay. Crying is okay and only signals that you've been strong for too long. Bullying is not okay. Whether you're a child, a teenager or an adult, bullying can happen. Bullying DOES happen. But you cannot, cannot, cannot let this get you down in life. You must remember that there are people that care - here is one, right now - and that there are people who love you. There are people who can help you. Your parents, your family, your guardian, your school staff, your manager, your best friend, your neighbor, your doctor and so many other possibilities, depending on who is in your life. You are NOT alone. If you feel like you are, remember, their are others who feel exactly like you do - and they are not alone, they are simply not in your life. So find one another. Go online, visit a forum, start a club online or off. If you are LGBTQ, do all of the above, and also consider joining your Pride center as a member or volunteer. Participate in LGBTQ rights movements. And no matter what you do or don't do? Make sure you love yourself. Make sure you keep yourself happy. Make sure you're alive, so you can see the future, a better future for all of us. Because we are the future.

I can't describe my love for the color combo in this picture. Mother Willow is a tree that sits in our backyard and there is simply something majestic about her... Going under her branches provides an entire different feeling, as if stepping into a calm and serene clearing where no one could bother you.

I love simplicity. Where some people may see a leaf, I see something so much more... When some people see a moth, or a snail; an ant or maybe just a random seed that didn't implant in the dirt... I see beauty. I snapped a picture of a moth that had delicate little hearts on his wings and I fell in love. Love is everywhere, if only we look.
