Painting of the derelict Battersea Power Station and surrounding railway lines and buildings. The original is mixed media, including watercolour, acrylic mediums, card and ink. London's beauty stems not from the pristine sights you find in tourist brochures, but from it's forgotten and derelict mish matching architecture. Battersea Power Staion is a famous landmark and one set for redevelopment, captured here in it's current grimey, grungy, scaffolded state before that look is lost forever.

This creepy picture of two magpie skulls illustrates a line from the famous poem "One for Sorrow, Two for Joy..." A few years ago, I discovered two dead magpies in my chimney. I assume that one must have fallen in and the other followed it's mate. Magpies, crows and other corvids are very misunderstood, beautiful birds. I created this mixed media artwork by dying paper with coffee and then painting in coffee, drawing with graphite and different coloured pastels and printing with ink.

One of the illustrations from "The Problem", a comic book I and a friend made. The monster wolf (representing all your problems, worries and artists block) grows and overwhelms you... The book explores how simple dealing with your concerns can be, and this picture offers a reminder to not let them get big enough to control you. A kind of self help in art form! The original image is a mixed media painting, including watercolour, ink, coffee (yes, coffee!), acrylic, collage, digitally arranged in photoshop.

GLaDOS, the AI from the Portal game series... The original artwork is acrylic and ink on brown paper. I tried to capture the decayed and aged aesthetic of Portal 2 with this image. With her evil yet endearing voice and sadistic tendency to test, GLaDOS is one of the most loved video game characters in history. This print would be a perfect gift for a gaming fan!

Painting of modern London, showing it's mismatch of old and new architecture, some mid construction. The original is mixed media, including watercolour, acrylic mediums, card, tissue paper and ink. The image, like my zine Disregarded London, looks to explore the real London never expected by visiting tourists to the English capital, with unfamiliar buildings from a less well known part of town. London's clashing styles of buildings create an interesting picture not found in many cities around the world, representing it's rich history.

A back street near the formally grotty Olympic site in London prior to it's redevelopment. Part of a series of works exploring the side of the city tourists rarely see. Derelict, dirty and mundane, these spaces have a strange architectural beauty to them.

Textural acrylic portrait on wood of a rhinoceros in the savanna. I created the original artwork on aged plywood, applying scratches and staines to it to give the appearance of dry grasses in the background. The rhino is painted in acrylic, using tissue paper and gel mediums to create a wrinkly texture of skin. I wanted to give the painting a messy appearance, with strong textures and visible brushstrokes and running paint splats.

A painting of a grunge and mineral covered drain gate. Some of the architecture in the world's drains is truly beautiful, but the stench and danger of exploration down there is one few can handle. I've created a few paintings of these strangely beautiful places inspired by photographs of those who lack a sense of smell and here is one of my favourites. The original is ink on paper.

A crafty little magpie, borrower of creative ideas, stitching bright blue and silver paper together. These intelligent and beautiful black and white birds are too often portrayed in a dark light, but they have problem solving creativity. I created the original illustration with collaged tissue paper, watercolour, acrylic painting and thread. There is even a real sewing needle in the image, held in the corvid's beak.
