Here's a poster for Arkham Asylum, the prison/mental hospital that houses (at one time or another) all of Batman's major foes. Named for the mother of the man who built it. He later went crazy and spent the rest of his days as a patient of his own hospital. I swear there's something in Gotham's water (that the Joker didn't already put there) that makes everyone go crazy at some point or another.

Future Industries is the premiere technology corporation in Republic City. Founded by Hiroshi Sato, Future Industries produces everything from Satomobiles to Blimps and Biplanes. Future Industries is also the sponsor of the Pro Bending team "The Fire Ferrets", of which Avatar Korra is a member.

This is a reference to "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Toph Beifong started a metal bending academy to teach the newly invented skill to anyone who wanted to learn. Her family crest is a flying boar, so it made sense that any sports team from her school would take that on as the mascot. Black alternative to the one I already posted.

The island is made up of a series of cliffs and volcanic sand beaches, which makes for a beautiful view.
