During the winter, I hardly got out for a run towards Canary Wharf. I had a great view of the financial centre of London from my balcony, but I had always imagined that it was much farther away than it looked like. Then the winter was gone. The sun came out and the days got warmer and sunnier. I finally put on my running shoes and ran towards Canary Wharf and GUESS WHAT? It was jut a mile away from my apartment and takes precisely ten minutes. As I ran through the wharf, the massive architecture that surrounded me everywhere overwhelmed me with its surreal imagery. It was a humbling visual experience. Now, I regularly go for a run to Canary Wharf and one day I took my camera to take some shots.
