So I've been away from my Society6 site for awhile and I apologize! Not that I have a huge following, but I'd still like to give a little update: I'm in between a lot of different things right now and the only time I've really been able to pick up my camera is to take some shots to help publicize some different projects I'm helping to promote. These projects and looking for a new full-time job really are what's keeping me busy these days. Hopefully soon I'll be able to make art for its own sake again! I hope everyone is having a wonderful season!

I've had a small love affair with this building ever since I noticed it in high school. This tiny little house that has nothing left but its (beautiful) outside walls stands in a field just outside the little community where I live. I've always wished I'd had the quality of equipment and the proper weather to photograph it and as the years passed, the corner of the field in which it stands has become more overgrown so that you would hardly notice it in the summer. I've always desired to explore this little house, wondered what stories it could tell, but for some reason I've simply never done it. Yesterday, that changed. I had my camera in the car with me and I finally pulled over to the side of the road in the snow, equipped only with my 50mm lens and clad in dress shoes. The lens is so close that it was difficult to get the types of shots I had in mind, but it revealed different aspects that I hadn't thought to explore before. I hope you enjoy!
