Mixed media drawing/painting based on Tales From Topographic Oceans by Roger Dean (cover art for the album of the same name by the band Yes), transformed from a night scene into a sunrise setting. Acrylic sculpting texture applied to masonite to define major shapes, then paint and mixed media (ink, crayon, gouache, etc.) added later.
