This series was using the animals on the opposite of the heads to convey a sense of emotion that the person might be feeling. I paired them up with what seemed appropriate at the time. These were also my first venture into true digital color. The original drawings were done on paper and inked then scanned in.

This pose and style was inspired by a Dutch sketch of a soldier that was being shown at a local museum. I really loved the regality of the posture, and although the original looked more snooty, I feel that this illustration display Donny as a very confident ninja.

I stopped reading comics for a good couple of years, at least the hero stuff. But when I caught sight of the new Batwoman I was quickly drawn to her. Mainly cause she's a redhead. But I really loved her style, look, and story. I've been drawing her a bunch ever since. Originally Gouache on paper.
