The writhing and turning of the forms...
The mysterious depths...
The central objects overlapping and tangling around each other - coming together in the center...
The glossy almost sweaty, silky surface texture...
Smooth and flowing...
Yet strained and contorted...
The center hot spots - coming together...

All of these factors made me think of the title "Embrace", and it seems to fit the image very well.

Or maybe the artist just wants a hug - or is in need of therapy

Einstein's Rainbow (For Sale)

When Albert Einstein dreamed of rainbows -
The dynamic flow of the centerpiece with its organic appearance, its look of having been peeled or carved, the bright red, yellow, blue and green combination, all coupled with a striking background, led to the title of this artwork.

A Gift of Love (For Sale)

A Gift of Love is often the best gift that anyone can give, and it does much to sustain people the world over. This artwork reminds me of Valentine's Day.

I considered "Heart Strings", "Heart Ribbons", "Broken Hearted Memories", "Broken Hearted Melody", etc. as possible titles, but the pretty ribbon-like features, as if the heart were tied up like a gift, provided what I felt the real title should be.

I hope you enjoy this heart-felt creation :-)

Boxed In (For Sale)

An unusual abstract that is both simple in design and complex in detail. This is an abstract concept of a Bed of Roses, but like most things in life, the perception and the reality may be quite different. However, a bed of roses is a bed of roses. Even if you might get burned. Hot
      Dry
         Dusty
            Oppressive
               Burning
                  Wind...

Wikipedia defines 'Sirocco' as: "Sirocco, scirocco, jugo or, rarely, siroc is a Mediterranean wind that comes from the Sahara and reaches hurricane speeds in North Africa and Southern Europe. It is known in North Africa by the arabic word qibli (قبلی i.e. "coming from the qibla".)"

Shellfish Dream (For Sale)

For my sister, who loves shells!

A conchologist would recognize this shell configuration as not quite earthly but then again, most dreams aren't - and who knows what a shellfish dreams? (4 spirals instead of 1 - a quadruplet!)

I love the patterns, colors and reflections in this piece. And it makes me think of the beach; a big attraction to me.

The head is bent over while the student intently studies the scrolls of his master, and it is the Moment of Enlightenment.

The heaps of scrolls on the pupil's lap seem to emanate a light of their own, as the student seeks to understand their knowledge, and achieves wisdom in return.

Or is it the enlightened master himself, at his studies?

The soft blues, golds and greens lend a peaceful serene feeling to the artwork.

They had such great hits as "Searchin'", "Yakety Yak", "Along Came Jones", "Charlie Brown", "Poison Ivy", "Little Egypt", "Love Potion Number Nine", and several others. And so I chose to name this piece in memory of that group and those great hits. Moldy Oldies can make for a fun afternoon.

The artwork also reminds me of my mother's quilts, and the circles she painstaking sewed together by hand to make them. She was very talented and artistic and we got years of use and comfort out of her sewn creations.

This piece may well remind you of something different from your past. Other's title suggestions have been "Cornocopia", "Cornucopia Rainbow", "In the Chips", "Let the Chips Fall" (I also like "Where They May") and "Chinese Umbrellas".

I love the flow of the piece and the various textures, the curves and twisted surface of the main feature, the diagonal movement and radiant sheen - it all works together very well.

It reminds me of Walt Disney art; it has that kind of atmopsphere. You can probably tell by my artwork - I like unique pieces.

Most parts of this artwork are the result of fractal manipulations, the more obvious being the spiral shape, the sparkles around the sphere and the tabletop.

This piece won the 2008 Annual Fine Art Show at the downtown Historical DIstrict's Heritage Museum; a juried art show with over 120 pieces.
Also featured on a major art website as the "Art of the Day", featured in various blogs, etc.

This unique work is full of swirls of a mixture of dark chocolate and caramel nougat! It screams of hidden delights of various kinds of nuts - almonds & macadamia? What else waits to tempt the taste buds & and satisfy that sweet chocolate craving?

I love this art! I want to taste it now!

But not eveyone sees what I see! Some think it looks like metal, some as if you are peering out from inside of amber, and some see chocolate and honey. What do think it represents?

The old ones left this for us
Tis a portal, a passage, a door
You’ve got nothing to lose my friend
So pass through for evermore

Once there don’t dare to look back
For then there’ll be nothing to see
Your past will be gone from your life
There’ll be only the future for thee

Hey, I’m an artist – not a poet
And it was very difficult to take this photo :-)

The colors, the look of the ‘false’ sky, and the alien appearance of the landscape all lend an air of mystery and wonder to this artwork.

Inspection reveals that the sky has folds in it, and is actually part of the rest of the scene. The entire artwork is just one large convoluted 3D object.

The organic curves, gently flowing and turning in an unexpected composition, the muted orange and rust colors of the landscape, and the blues and yellows of the ‘enclosed’ sky, present themselves in an intriguing and unique interplay of light and color.

There is some accidental symbolism in this art which is often overlooked.

The result is an appealing, restful, and mysterious landscape that could only be found in the mind of its artist creator. Please join me and enjoy this view of my mental meanderings.
