He has been inspired by woodland creatures, animals from around the world and the animals you come across in parks and Cities. Part of the atmosphere he wants to create is the elusive nature of some of these animals and the mystery they create. It often feels like you have caught them in a moment humans are not supposed to see. We interact in each others natural environments but we are still learning all the time. Through pattern and mark making he want's to show his own perspective of the animal world. Working in black & white he enjoy's the unique contrast and simplicity it provides, while always striving to enhance the Animal Adventure series.
